To celebrate the restoration of the church steeple, Datchet Village Society has launched a new greetings card, showing the view across the greens to The Bridge, the Royal Stag, and St Mary’s.
The new card is available at Hearts and Flowers in the High Street, at The Bridge on the Green, and at local events in the village. It will be on sale alongside our two other cards: a bird’s-eye view of the village taken from the church steeple; and a colourful view of Memorial Green and the Manor Houses. The cards cost 75p each or 5 for £3.50.
All the images were captured by DVS photographer, Adrian Giddins. The cards are A6 size (roughly 6″ x 4″) and blank inside for your own message. They come neatly packaged with an envelope in a protective cellophane pocket.
