Datchet Village Society has published a leaflet ‘Datchet in the Great War 1914-1918 – A Memorial Trail’ to accompany a very special programme of DVS guided walks. The leaflet contains information on the village’s three public WWI memorials as well as brief details of all the men whose names appear on the village green memorial. There is also a map showing where the service men lived and which of their houses still exist today.
Where to find a leaflet
Any part of the trail can be explored independently using the leaflet. Copies are available at The Bridge and from the DVS stall at village events. You can also download a copy here: Datchet – A Memorial Trail.
