Butterfly Survey at Willowfields

Butterfly Survey at Willowfields

posted in: What's On | 1

Wild About Datchet, the new community group which aims to discover, celebrate, improve and protect wild things and wild places in Datchet and the surrounding countryside, has invited Datchet Village Society members to join their Butterfly Survey. This follows on from a bird survey conducted in May.

WHEN: Monday 1 July, 11am

WHERE: The group is meeting at Datchet Village Hall and then will head over to Willowfields/Land at Mill Place.

PLEASE NOTE: The survey will only be carried out if the weather is warm and sunny – butterflies can’t fly if it’s cold.

TO BOOK: There is no charge to join the walk. Please email WildAboutDatchet(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)gmail.com if you’re thinking about coming along so they can notify you of any changes.

Could you help?

Wild about Datchet is looking for people who are interested in getting involved in wildlife conservation locally. They would love to hear from gardeners, bird watchers or anyone who just likes the outdoors and cares about the environment.
